Terms and Conditions
General agreement for all Baby Gear Myrtle Beach equipment rental customers at ANY of our locations.
This is for all reservation forms submitted and reservations made by phone call.
Thank you for your order. Please sign this form for delivery of your equipment. By signing this agreement, the customer agrees to pay the price sent in the email for the equipment the customer reserved.
Baby Gear Myrtle Beach has 180 days from the date of the order being placed to bill for any charges.
When you leave please leave the items you rented back in the place it was delivered unless otherwise advised. It is the customer's RESPONSIBILITY to check over all rented equipment upon arrival for the satisfaction of rented equipment. If any reserved rental equipment is missing, you MUST NOTIFY us by 8 pm of the reservation form delivery date by email ONLY. If not notified by 8 pm you agree that all equipment has been delivered. If we have to exchange an item because you’ve changed your mind and want something different you must do so by 6 pm by email ONLY on check-in date on your reservation form submitted (or reservations made by phone call). If email is received by 6 pm for exchange Baby Gear Myrtle Beach has 24 hours to exchange items. ANY time after 6 pm of the check-in date on the customer's reservation form (or reservations made by phone call) you will be charged an exchange fee of $40. Any rented equipment that is not satisfactory to you must be reported to Baby Gear Myrtle Beach by email ONLY with PICTURES by 8 pm on your reservation form check-in date. If an email is received by 8 pm on the reservation form check-in date (or reservation is made by phone call) Baby Gear Myrtle Beach has 24 hours to change out equipment. Once 8 pm has past YOU TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF EQUIPMENT and EQUIPMENT’S CONDITION. NONE of the rented equipment shall be used in the OCEAN. If determined by Baby Gear Myrtle Beach equipment has been used or put in the ocean customer WILL be charged to replace the item or items.
Pick-up time starts at 9 a.m. on your reservation form pick-up date. If the equipment is not in the designated area on pick-up day or we aren't able to get the equipment because the equipment is still being used or equipment is not in the designated area for pick-up, you will be charged an extra pick-up fee of $40. If rented equipment is NOT recovered on the pick-up date customer will be charged in full for missing equipment. No subsequent notice will be given for any of these charges. We work with most rental companies and resorts. We do not set up chairs and umbrellas.
Return Condition
If Baby Gear Myrtle Beach deems there is ANY vomit/excrement you will be charged $65. If Baby Gear Myrtle Beach deems there is ANY kind of smoke odor $70 will be charged for smoke removal. If they cannot remove the smoke smell, you will be responsible for the replacement cost of each item. There is a strict NO SMOKING policy around the gear, at all times.
If items are missing or broken you will be charged for the full cost of damaged or broken items.
Baby Gear Myrtle Beach reserves the right to substitute any rental equipment not available. There will be a $35 cleaning fee per item rented if not returned in the same condition it was delivered in. If any additional cleaning beyond the normal cleaning fee is needed additional $65 will be charged. NO subsequent notice will be given for any of these charges.
There are NO REFUNDS if you leave early before your reservation form check-out date.
If Baby Gear Myrtle Beach decides on ANY REFUND this agreement must be signed.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of the Terms and Conditions between myself (customer) and Baby Gear Myrtle Beach, I(customer) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
I understand that certain risks of injury exist from the use or misuse of any baby or children item, including the potential risk of serious injury, disability, or death from the use of such items.
I understand that I am releasing Baby Gear Myrtle Beach from any liability.
I knowingly and freely assume all such risks above, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for the use of the rented items.
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs or anyone using these items, hereby release, hold harmless, and agree not to sue Baby Gear Myrtle Beach.
I further agree that this RELEASE OF LIABILITY shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and any court-related issues will be located in the Baby Gear Myrtle Beach County.
Finally, I have read and understand this Terms and Conditions Contract and RELEASE OF LIABILITY and fully understand its terms.
I fully understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing this agreement which I (customer) sign freely and voluntarily without inducement.
When you submit a reservation, it is assumed that you have read to and agreed with these Terms and Conditions as well as the Release of Liability Agreement. You have till 8 pm on the submitted reservation form delivery date to replace items that you feel are defective or not what you wanted by EMAIL ONLY. Must take a picture and send it to Baby Gear via email. After that, you assume all charges for your items that were delivered.
You assume all responsibility for the items while in your care. By agreeing to rent any items you cannot hold Baby Gear Myrtle Beach responsible for loss or injury while items are in your care.
If you leave early there are NO REFUNDS. Customer AGREES they will NOT dispute any charges from BABY GEAR MYRTLE BEACH. If any disputes customer will be charged an additional $75. All Charges are final. The customer agrees to this. No subsequent notice will be given for any of these charges. WE ARE HAPPY TO RESCHEDULE YOUR RESERVATION. EVERYTHING IS STATED ON THE WEBSITE.
You understand and agree to the price and conditions.
